August is Cookie Month!

Cookies, cookies, we love cookies!!! We are so excited to celebrate cookies in the month of August. Each week in August we will have a cookie of the week. August 1st - 6th will be White Chocolate Lime Cookie week. The following week will be Orange Snickerdoodle Cookie week. August 15th - 20th will be Sugar Cookie week. August 22nd - 27th will be Peanut Butter Cookie week. To finish off the month, August 29th - September 3rd's cookie of the week wil be Lemon Cream Cheese Melt Aways. All month long our cookie of the week will be only $1.59 each, what a steal! Mark your calendars so you won't miss you favorite cookie.

End of Summer Luau

Sadly, summer will be coming to an end and school will start in a few weeks. We at Dippidee have decided to have one final bash before the end of summer. We will be having a Luau on August 18th & 19th. Come join the festivities any time between 11 AM and 3 PM. We will have crafts, face painting, games, and give aways. There is not a better way to celebrate the end of summer than with our sweet surprises. Hope to see you there!

Football Fans

Last week we made this cake for a customer. He has a friend who is a Packers' fanatic and wanted to surprise him for his birthday. We had tons of fun making it and the cake was a hit.

This was his reply to the cake:

"Thank you so much for the beautiful cake! My friend loved it! Everyone said that it was the best cake that they had ever eaten! I flew back into town last night, and I ate a piece. It was fantastic! Thanks again for getting this cake done for me with such short notice!"

Another satisfied customer. Not only are our cakes great decorations, the taste amazing!!

Pioneer Day Weekend

Summer Fun!! Dippidee is so excited for this fun in the sun weekend. In honor of Pioneer Day, we will be having some delcious Utah themed treats. We will have sweet sugar cookies in the shape of beehives and bees to represent our Beehive state. They are perfect for a BBQ, a Pinic, or any party. Just a reminder, we will be closed July 25th, 2011 to celebrate Pioneer day. We are also excited for this weekend because we will be returning to Park City this weekend to be apart of the Park Silly Sunday Market. They have live music, great food, and of course we will be there! We at Dippidee hope you have a wonderful holiday and we plan to have a great one.

Custom Cupcakes

In honor of our cupcake month, I wanted to share some of my favorite cupcakes we have done in the past for kids parties. Cupcakes are always a great alternative to cake. They are perfect size for little kids and the each child will feel special because they get their own. One of our most popular decorated cupcakes have been either Minnie Mouse or Mickey Mouse cupcakes. Princess cupcakes are perfect for any little girl. Farm animals and zoo animals are also great for parties for both boys and girls. So if your little one is having a party, Dippidee can make your custom cupcakes. Our cupcakes will give your party a super sweet touch.

Princess Party

Time to get your girl all dolled up and fancy for our 1st ever Princess Party. We will have tons of fun activities and games sure to make this a sweet experience. Join us on either Thursday, July 14th or Friday, July 15th. Come anytime between 11 AM - 3 PM. We will be giving out treats to all the girls in princess costumes, so don't forget to dress up. We look forward to seeing you and don't forget, it is FREE!

Shopping and Sweets

Dippidee is excited to be apart of this unique event. Bella's Vintage Market is a unique gathering of vendors with the extremely distinctive products. Not only can you pick up delicious treats, you can also get antiques, collectibles, vintage clothing, purses, jewelry, and handmade treasures. This event is great for that gal has her own individual style. In addition to the great shopping experience, there will be live music too. So, come visit us at Bella's Vintage Market this Saturday, July 9th 10 AM - 4 PM!! It will be held at Wheeler Farms (6351 S 900 E. Salt Lake City). Admission to the show is $3.00. Children are RREE!! We will see you there.

Visiting Teaching Messages

Dippidee is excited to announce that we will now have Visiting Teaching Messages. Our wonderful customers have made requests and we have decided to honor their wishes. Starting July 5, 2011, Dippidee will have on stock the perfect gift to take when going visiting teaching. For only $1.75 you can pick up a letter containing the monthly message wrapped with a beautifully handmade bow and card. The Visiting Teaching Message a can be attached to any of our delicious treats. We will also have sugar cookies that go along with the monthly theme.
