Meanwhile let me share a wedding cake I recently made for Salt Lake/Park City Bride and Groom magazine. The theme for my cake was "Summer." I want to share with you the behind the scenes pictures. And then of course the end result. 

 This cake was an exciting challenge for me. It may look simple, but if you are a cake decorator you understand that gravity is not your friend. And making horizontal lines on a cake...well it can be difficult. I took this challenge and created a system that will allow me to easily make horizontal lines on a cake now. I am so excited to make more cakes with this similar look.

I really love how light and airy this set up was. It truly encompassed "summer."
